Working Student (f/m/d) Ruby Developer in the Vulnerability Intelligence Team

Mode of Employment: Limited, 16-20 hours/week


Vilocify is a vulnerability intelligence service run by a team consisting of over 30 people in five different countries. We alert our customers in real-time about vulnerabilities affecting software and hardware used in products and infrastructure. As we constantly strive for high quality notifications to our customers, we need your support.

Have you always wanted to gain experience with an internationally committed team in the field of Cyber Security - Vulnerability Intelligence while studying? As a Ruby Developer working student in our team, you will.

 

You’ll create impact by

  • You will be a part of an active international team providing the leading vulnerability intelligence service protecting critical products and infrastructure
  •  You will actively develop on our customer facing web portal with Ruby on Rails and JavaScript
  •  Moreover you will continuously contribute to process improvement and optimization of the service
 

You’re excited to build on your existing expertise, including

  • You are currently studying computer science, business informatics or a similar subject
  • Preferably, you bring knowledge and experience in Development with Ruby on Rails
  • JavaScript frameworks like Sencha Ext JS, but also tools like Git, Docker, Debian or other Linux distributions, GitLab CI/CD you have already heard of
  • You are characterized by a careful and precise way of working
  • You are looking for a new challenge
  • You fluently communicate in English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of German is a nice addition
