Introduction of Lifecycle Management

What links development, production, market, and customer functions? The Lifecycle Management (LCM) Department. We're creating ONE company flow by steering projects hand-in-hand with teams throughout the organization from the initial project idea to project realization and through to final production.

LCM is involved in the product strategy, Business Strategy, Connectivity and e-Mobility. These functions are composed of 8 departments (6 in Japan, 2 in India) with a headcount of ca. 160 people.

Job Description

  • Your mission

 Leading LDT product projects at Mitsubishi Fuso.
- Lead and manage LDT product project teams
- Achieve FUSO customer/quality, technical/functional, localization/commercial and timing targets for the respective projects
- Lead and coordinate all project related cross-functional issues in FUSO matrix oroganizaton according to CVDS roles and responsibilities

As part of Product & Strategy DTA our department “Product Projects LDT” is responsible for leading cross-functional product projects for major changes and full model changes of MFTBC LDT. With these tasks we take on the responsibility for the achievement of aligned targets regarding product features, cost, timeline and quality, ensuring the further development of our MFTBC products.

  • Your responsibilities

Vehicle Project Management
- Lead Cluster1,2 and 3 product projects LDT after QG9 and complex series change projects from kick-off
- Planning of QGs, milestones & funding requirements
- Project steering according to CVDS philosophy
- Continuous tracking of project risks and respective definition and follow-up of measures
- Monitoring of product cost and initiation of counterbalancing measures in case of deviations

 Documentation
- Preparation of Board approvals in FUSO and Daimler Truck
- Continuous reporting to A-PC, CMM according to reporting standards
- Initiate and coordinate project documentation
