In this pivotal role, you will be the driving force behind the provision of medical expertise that shapes and enhances our medical affairs activities. You will play a crucial part in influencing regulatory and HTA submissions, engaging with scientific communities and associations, and fostering relationships with key thought leaders.
Your mission will be to elevate and evolve expert knowledge—medical, scientific, and technical—related to our innovative cardiorenal franchise. By contributing your insights and expertise, you will help define the strategic direction of our initiatives, evaluate options, and conduct thorough methodological reviews of our evidence plans.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strategic Development: Lead the creation and execution of a comprehensive medical strategy for Cardiovascular, focusing on Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD), while maximizing scientific communication and differentiation
- Expert Engagement: Gather and analyze insights from healthcare professionals (HCPs) and thought leaders (TLs), cultivate and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) in Nephrology, Cardiology, Endocrinology, and Primary Care, supporting strategic initiatives and organizing impactful scientific events
- Cross-Functional: Partner with diverse teams, including clinical development, commercial, regulatory, market access, real world evidence, to ensure alignment and drive successful outcomes
- Medical Expertise: Provide in-depth knowledge of cardiovascular diseases, guiding the development of educational materials and ensuring adherence to scientific standards
- Publication Strategy: Contribute to the global Publication Strategy and Plan, facilitating the creation of high-quality educational content and training programs
- Compliance and Accuracy: Review and provide expert input on promotional materials, ensuring scientific integrity and compliance with regulatory standards
- Research Analysis: Analyze results from clinical studies and real-world evidence, synthesize findings to provide actionable insights for internal and external stakeholders
- Innovative Solutions: Identify opportunities for innovative practices and quality metrics to improve patient outcomes in CKD management
- Market Analysis: Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor landscape and evolving treatment paradigms
WHO YOU ARE
- Medical Degree: You hold a medical degree and have several years of experience in medical affairs within a global healthcare organization, with a special advantage being prior experience in a key market, e.g.: US or China
- Specialized Knowledge: Your expertise in Cardiology or Nephrology is highly valued (Board certification in Cardiology / Nephrology preferred), along with experience in evidence generation through clinical trials and real-world studies as well as familiarity with market access requirements in key health care settings
- Research Proficiency: You have a strong track record in designing, interpreting, and communicating across a broad range of medical studies (RCT, RWE) including strong knowledge in contemporary evidence generation across multiple research methodologies of primary and secondary medical data
- Project Management Skills: You excel in managing complex projects with a keen attention to detail, delivering high-quality results
- Effective Communicator: Your exceptional presentation and writing skills enable you to convey complex medical information clearly and persuasively
- Cultural Sensitivity: You thrive in a multicultural environment and possess the ability to navigate cross-cultural differences effectively
- Collaborative Spirit: You are adept at building relationships in a matrix environment and collaborating with commercial stakeholders
- Ethical Standards: You uphold strong ethical standards and comply with global regulations and company policies
- Fluency in English: You are fluent in English, both orally and in writing, facilitating clear communication with diverse audiences
