JOIN THE TEAM
Within our unit SAP Cross Applications & Compliance – we ensure secure, stable and compliant operations of BASF’s SAP Application Platforms with a special focus on interfaces and SAP security. Our global SAP system landscape covers a high variety of different OnPremise & Cloud based SAP applications including e.g., ERP, BW, HR, BTP Process Automation, … and supports all critical business processes of BASF on a global level.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
- You will be responsible for the stable operations of our SAP Application Platforms
- As part of our team, you will take care and consult on IT Security and Interface topics in our SAP environment. Furthermore, you will coordinate and steer related activities with various SAP Application and Technology teams.
- You will be part of project delivery teams, which means you are planning, coordinating and implementing the latest technology components for the projects. This applies also for related effort estimations.
- Identification, evaluation and implementation of innovative new technologies components / platforms to provide further functionality on the SAP platform.
- Your operational tasks include error resolution, preventive maintenance activities and change processing in a high complex SAP environment.
- You will be responsible for the setup of technical interfaces and ensure secured and encrypted communication for all inbound and outbound scenarios.
- You proactively and continuously improve the SAP IT security of the global SAP landscape.
- You will ensure audit-proof and compliant operations of our SAP Application Platforms, execute checks in the relevant systems and identify and implement improvement potentials.
- You will be evaluating and driving the introduction of new and innovative technologies for the SAP Platform Operation and take care for a high degree of automation within our processes.
WHAT YOU OFFER
- University graduate, majoring in Information Technology or Digitalization
- At least 5 years working experience in operating of SAP R/3 or S/4 system environments
- You have a conceptual and result oriented mindset with a highly analytical and problem-solving working style
- You are highly motivated to drive innovation and automation
- You are very curious about new topics or technologies and like to figure out how such things work.
- You have excellent communication skills in English in verbal and written form.
- You enjoy working as part of a global team.
- SAP development knowledge (e.g. ABAP, ABAP OO, Fiori, …)
- Good understanding of SAP Interface technologies
