Pay Range for this role is $80,000 USD – $97,000 USD I Eligible for a 10% performance-based bonus.

Work a straight shift (day or nights) 12-hour 2-2-3 schedule I Straight time overtime available after 40 hours.

BASF’s Elyria, Ohio Catalyst site is seeking a professional like you to provide production supervision to a team of operators in a manufacturing environment! You will be responsible for providing day-to-day direction to the operators to ensure a safe, productive, and reliable operation. This is an excellent opportunity to demonstrate your team leadership skills and manufacturing expertise.

 

The Catalysts BU division is the world’s leading supplier of environmental and process catalysts.We develop and produce mobile emissions catalysts as well as process catalysts and technologies for a broad range of customers worldwide. The Catalysts division also provides precious metals procurement, sales and related services. We continue to expand our leading role in catalyst technology through continuous process and product innovation.

During your shift as a Production Supervisor, you will

• Engage and coach chemical operators to achieve production department excellence regarding safety, environmental compliance, quality, and productivity.
• Establish, reinforce, and support a safe working environment by ensuring compliance with all relevant EHS regulations and procedures/policies.
• Aid the production team by troubleshooting and resolving operational issues.
• Collaborate with Maintenance and Engineering groups to identify operational issues and drive continuous improvements.
• Effectively communicate safety topics, production status, maintenance needs, and engineering requirements.
• Work a straight shift (day or nights) 12-hour 2-2-3 schedule, or a straight 8-hour 2nd or 3rd shift.

If you...

• Hold a High School Diploma or GED.
• Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing plant and a minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience.
• Have excellent management and leadership capabilities and a strong commitment to workplace safety.
• Have a results-oriented mindset and manufacturing knowledge.
• Can engage across the organization.
• Have strong written and communication skills.
