With our 18-month trainee program, you will gain a comprehensive insight into the various fields of activity in the areas of finance and controlling. From the very beginning, you will work on your own projects in which you can advance topics in the field of finance or controlling.
The trainee program prepares you optimally for a career in the field of finance and controlling. After completing the program, you will have a wide range of career opportunities within the company. By working closely with various stakeholders, taking on responsible projects and being in contact with senior management, trainees and alumni, you will build a strong network. In doing so, you will lay the foundation for a successful professional future at BASF.
We are looking for committed university graduates who set themselves goals and want to leave their comfort zone.
We require the following minimum requirements:
• Degree in the field of business/economics (Master, PhD, MBA)
• At least 3-month internship in Finance and/or Controlling
• At least 3 months abroad (in the form of study semesters or internships abroad) A maximum of three years’ work experience.
• Fluency in English is a must, German language skills are a plus

• Strong communication skills: You can convey complex issues in an understandable and precise way.
• Analytical thinking: You have the ability to systematically analyze problems and develop solutions.
