As a Global Business Expert: Foreign Trade, you will be part of the Global Supply Chain Process Excellence team, which includes members located in Europe, Asia, North America, and South America. This role is based in Research Triangle Park, NC, and features a hybrid working arrangement: 3 days in the office per week and 2 days working remotely from home.

As a Global Business Expert: Foreign Trade, you create chemistry by...

 

  • Implementing new organizational and/or technical concepts for processes in Foreign Trade, covering Trade Compliance and Customs Management, with strong alignment with relevant stakeholders, including global process owners. Facilitating and contributing to change and test management activities.
  • Driving innovation and automation activities, such as those based on Robotic Process Automation (RPA) technology, while continuously assessing improvement potentials and implementing new solutions when available.
  • Tracking and addressing adherence to business rules and processes, including monitoring through KPIs, process mapping tools, and reports.
  • Leading regional, sub-regional, and local key-user communities to promote continuous communication and best practice exchange, while defining and monitoring service levels for external and internal partners, taking into account the specifics of the Agricultural Solutions business.
  • Leading projects or project workstreams with cross-organizational or cross-functional aspects, such as S/4HANA implementation or supply chain integration of acquired businesses.
  • Executing key-user and end-user support, which includes issue resolution in day-to-day business, training, monitoring tasks, and data maintenance.

If you...

 

  • Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Foreign Trade, IT, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Bring 8+ years of progressive experience in Logistics or Supply Chain, with a strong focus on Foreign Trade processes and tools.
  • Demonstrate deep knowledge of supply chain, operations, and logistics processes, along with experience using analysis and monitoring tools, such as SAP transactions, Business Warehousing (BW) applications, and data lake queries.
  • Exhibit detailed knowledge of Microsoft standard applications, SAP ERP, and related tools for Foreign Trade purposes, as well as the capability to use process modeling tools (e.g., Signavio) for process mapping and design. S/4HANA experience is a plus.
  • Be fluent in the English language (verbal and written) and possess excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Have experience contributing to projects or leading workstreams, always with a strong commitment to enhancing the customer and business partner experience throughout the Foreign Trade process area.
  • Be able to travel up to 15% (domestically and internationally).
